the Equine Facilitated Mental Health Association for 4 years. New Hope T.E.C. Inc. Has been required to comply with
their standards and accreditations.  There is always a First Aid and CPR Certified Instructor on site.

Little known fact about your company:
Mentally and Physically Challenged At risk children qualifies as 98% of the communities young population as anyone
who has been subjected to a death in the family, divorce, abuse, emotional or physical trauma or disturbances,
behavioral problems including but not limited to ADD & ADHD falls into this group. The unconditional love of our
rescued animals develop lasting bonds with our participants as well as strengthen ones emotional and physical well
being.  The horse at a walk has a 3 dimensional gate, that duplicates the walk of a person thus it breaks the rhythm of
spasm, to relax the muscles and gently massage dormant muscles and nerves to renewed heath.
The result is building muscles tones, improving coordination, posture, and balance.

Largest accomplishment last year:
Watching a little boy who was diagnosed as wheel chair bound for life,
walk and run with other children after two years of therapeutic riding in our program.

History:
New Hope T.E.C. Inc. Was  founded by the single mother of two.
While this single parent (survivor of abuse) battled Ovarian Cancer and Multiple Sclerosis was faced with the potential
of becoming wheel chair bound, she had a vision from the lord. This combined with her life long love of animals and
children, as well as, the ease in which children are able to speak openly with her, started her in search of a riding
program that would help not only the handicap, but all children and animals combined. What she found was N.A.R.H.A.
After many hours of research she decided to venture into
Equine Facilitated Mental Health Association and combine it with Animal Rescue.
The unconditional love of a rescued animal can establish lasting bonds and friendships.
New Hope T.E.C. Inc. Has been fortunate to find property to lease each year
to explore pilot programs in many locations.
We feel Hancock County has been our most successful and
have found a permanent home with the help of our community we will expand to year round activities.

Additional Comments:
This type of program has proven to be successful in many other counties and states.  There are over 650 sites in the
United States; New Hope T.E.C. Inc. Is striving to make this program available to
the residents of Hancock and Surrounding Counties.

Passion
A powerful, intense emotion in deed. Some
people spend a lifetime seeking passion.
I have not had to seek it out at all.
I have been blessed with trials and
tribulations that have taught me patience
and experiences in my life which evoke
passion naturally...
Animals and Children with disabilities.
Putting the two together was the natural
thing to do, as long as my physical strength
and endurance hold up, I will be here, with
passion, for this program.
